The Van Wert Council on Aging offers a wide variety of services to our adult population. Transportation, meals, medicare, foot care clinic, HEAP assistance, tax aid service and more.
Activities
The Senior Center center offers a place for senior citizens to come and enjoy fun and fellowship through many activities offered daily. Favorites include euchre, pinochle, and bingo and there’s always a special event right around the corner.

Fundraising
Support Van Wert County Council on Aging by purchasing a COA t-shirt.

Applications can be obtained at the Council on Aging at 220 Fox Rd, Van Wert, OH 45891.
Pay is commensurate with the position and determined by the VWCCOA’s Board of Directors. The Van Wert County Council on Aging is a 501c3 charitable organization.

We offer transportation county-wide for essential appointments and trips. Transportation is provided out-of-town within a 50 mile radius for medical appointments. Interested in learning more? Give us a call at 419-238-5011.
