General office, clerical, computer, and receptionist skills. Be proficient in keyboarding skills.

Must be proficient in the use of general office and technology based office equipment.

Must be proficient in the use of computers and technology based equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred. 

A willingness to be flexible as to overall job duties and to cover per needed shifts.

A willingness to attend informative seminars, meetings, or training sessions as authorized by the Executive Director.

A willingness to cooperate with staff, clients, volunteers, and the Board of Directors, to uphold and maintain the policies and goals of the COA program.

Ability to maintain client and agency confidentiality.

Individual must be able to pass basic Ohio Department of Aging background requirements.

Pay is commensurate with the position and determined by the VWCCOA’s Board of Directors. The Van Wert County Council on Aging is a 501c3 charitable organization.
